Klokot
Klokot is a small, short river, a left tributary of Una. It springs not far from Bihać, flows through the village of Klokot, and after 4.5 km flows into the Una. It is a river with a strong source and a somewhat slower flow with a few rapids at the source, which is located a few hundred meters from the Željava airport at the foot of the Plješevica mountain massif.
The water vegetation in its bed is quite emphasized. For most of its course, the Klokot flows through the wider outskirts of Bihać, surrounded by the slopes of Plješevica. The depth of the river ranges from 0.5 to 4 m. Klokot is a typical mountain river. The average water temperature ranges from 8 to 10 degrees. The bottom is overgrown with different aquatic plants and algae, which are a habitat for river crayfish and juvenile fish.Klokot flows along meadows and pastures for almost its entire course, with the exception of the part near the source itself, which is surrounded by dense evergreen trees.
