Pliva

In the western part of the municipality of Šipovo, 8.5 km from the center, at an altitude of 481 m, three springs emerge that form the river Pliva. The abundance of water that springs quietly and noiselessly from the limestone bosoms, suddenly increases its speed and becomes noisy and foaming, and then in the valley of Pljeva it calms down and becomes a quiet river. United sources form the river Pliva, which flows into the river Vrbas in the town of Jajce, forming a magnificent waterfall 30 meters high. It is the only waterfall in the world located in the city center.
