Gradac River

The Gradac River flows 23.7 km through steep canyons before joining the Kolubara River in Valjevo (100,000 inhabitants). Gradac Canyon is a tourist attraction, partly because it is easily accessible by many hiking trails. Fly fishermen and nature lovers from all over the world come every year to visit this river. The river Gradac is rich in brown trout and it is possible to catch a large specimen of this fish. Fly fishing (catch-release) is allowed along the entire river.The official fishing season starts on March 1st and ends on October 1st.
